DANGER

Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Wear protective gloves/clothing/eye protection. If swallowed: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. Do NOT induce vomiting. If on skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If inhaled: Remove victim to fresh air.

Section 4First-Aid Measures

Inhalation: Rescuers should put on appropriate protective gear. Remove from area of exposure. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Keep victim warm. Get immediate medical attention.

Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with water for a minimum of 15 minutes, occasionally lifting and lowering upper lids. Get medical attention promptly.

Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention. Wash clothing separately and clean shoes before reuse.

Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Give victim a glass of water. Call a physician or poison control center immediately. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Section 5Fire-Fighting Measures

Extinguishing Media: Carbon Dioxide, Dry Chemical, Foam, Water Fog.

Specific Hazards: Flammable liquid and vapor. Vapors/dust may cause flash fire or explosion. Vapors can travel to a source of ignition and flash back. Empty containers retain product residue and can be dangerous. DO NOT pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind, or expose such containers to heat, flame, sparks, or static electricity.

Special Protective Equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus (MSHA/NIOSH approved) and full protective gear. Avoid solid water streams. Water runoff can cause environmental damage - dike and collect water used to fight fire.

Section 6Accidental Release Measures

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus. Eliminate all ignition sources. Do not touch or walk through spilled material. Avoid runoff into storm sewers and waterways. Ventilate spill area. Stay upwind. Absorb spill with inert material (e.g. dry sand or earth), place in chemical waste container.

Section 7Handling and Storage

Handling: Use only in a well ventilated area. Avoid breathing vapor, fumes or mist. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Ground and bond containers when transferring material. Use spark-proof tools and explosion proof equipment.

Storage: Store containers in a cool, dry, well ventilated place. Keep container closed when not in use.

Section 8Exposure Controls / Personal Protection

Engineering Controls: Provide ventilation sufficient to maintain exposure below recommended limits.

Respiratory Protection: Program meeting OSHA 1910.134 and ANSI Z88.2 requirements must be followed whenever workplace conditions warrant a respirator.

Skin Protection: Wear impervious protective gloves. Protective apron, suit, boots as needed.

Eye Protection: Wear safety glasses with side shields (or goggles) and a face shield.

Other: Facilities should be equipped with an eyewash facility and safety shower. Do not eat, drink, or smoke in areas where this material is used.
